A unique way to help you and your vet to uncover the intricate links between pain and abnormal, challenging or undesirable behaviours in dogs. Trough this deep dive you'll gain a valuable insight into your dog's health and contribute to advancing your pet's care.

The Assessment

As a Dynamic Dog practitioner, I look at many different ways how the dog hold itself and moves to ascertain their comfort levels, whilst taking into account any connections between behaviour, posture, movement, nutrition and daily lifestyle, to provide a comprehensive assessment of your dog's well-being. I have learned many secrets of how to identifying pain and discomfort in dogs, recognising good posture and movement specific to each breed and individual and took time to understanding them from the outside in. Through specific observational techniques, I aim to present findings to you and your vet, aiding further investigations and allowing them to focus on what is truly important. Many dogs endure undiagnosed pain because they either don't show obvious signs, or we can't identify them trough general observation, even during vet exams. With DD method, I can identify subtle indicators, provide video evidence and detailed reports to support you and your vet to diagnose issues more effectively.

 

The benefits of Dynamic Dog assessment​

• It is hands off approach assessment suitable for many behaviours even where veterinary exams were previously extremely challenging.

• The assessment is done from the comfort of your home and your dog's familiar environment - where they feel the most comfortable, therefore they are able to show us the most natural changes and compensations typically invisible at the vets's exam room.

• You will receive a thorough review of your dog's movement and posture to identify any abnormalities.

• You will gain an understanding how conformation, diet, play and other everyday things can impact your dog's health and how it affects the human-animal bond and family integration. Everything is connected.

• You will receive a step-by-step plan for assessment and next steps, which can also be a baseline to spot any changes through out your dog’s life.

• By engaging in this assessment, you will gain the understanding the unspoken language of dogs and improve their quality of life.

• You will receive comprehensive report accompanied with evidence for your vet

Requirements and expectations​

• Full commitment through out the assessment, including - a short intake form (10min) followed by 60–90-minute remote (phone or video call) deep dive consultation.

• Evidence gathering for me: Ability to take a series of photos and videos. Full guidance on how and what is needed will be provided to ensure accurate and consistent evidence gathering. (If you are local to me, I  can assist with photo and video collection over several days)

• Details and collaboration with your current vet, including your dog's medical history.

• The assessment will typically take 10-14 days from consultation to report writing depending on your commitment of evidence gathering for me.​​​

 

The cost of the assessment

• Stand alone assessment £220 with £50 consultation deposit payable upon submission of your initial form. This is suitable for owners that already work with other trainer or behaviourist and need additional advice or for those who know something is not right but not sure what yet. You will receive basic action plan of your next steps but not behaviour advice.

• Additional cost as a part of behaviour package £108

What is included​

This comprehensive, project-based service tracks, analyzes, and documents your dog’s movement and behavior over a 14-day window. The final output is an objective, evidence-based clinical asset designed to bridge the gap between your daily observations and your primary veterinarian’s diagnostic tools.

1. Initial clinical deep dive consultation (60 to 90 Minutes)

2. History Review: A comprehensive review of your dog’s behavioural timeline, medical history, and current daily routines.

3. Data gathering and symptom mapping: Identifying specific behavioural triggers that may correlate with physical pain trough photos and videos of daily activities submitted for analysis within 2 weeks of deep dive consultation.

4. Personalised coaching on exactly how to capture clear, usable video footage and log tracking data at home without stressing your dog.

5. Evidence review

6. Findings Discussion: A 20-30 minute follow-up call to explain key insights 

7. Veterinary Report & Liaison: Findings shared with you and your dog’s vet to support diagnosis and further intervention.
